About Us

Founded in April of 2024, Middle Tennessee Health Partners (MTHP), is an innovative physician hospital organization (PHO) affiliated with Nashville General Hospital (NGH).

MTHP is a multi-specialty provider group offering a broad range of services from primary care to specialties such as behavioral health, dermatology, gastroenterology, oncology, ENT, ophthalmology, podiatry, cardiology, interventional radiology, neurology, nephrology, orthopedics, pulmonology, rheumatology, surgical services, urology, women’s and men’s health and primary care.

MTHP was designed specifically to support communities in Metro Nashville and greater Davidson County through an evidence-based population health care model generating significant improvement in outcomes and providing greater access to all.

Leadership Team

Jana Rogers, MSHA, HQS

President

Rogers serves in a variety of leadership roles including providing oversight in daily operations, provider recruitment & relations, patient safety, risk management, infection prevention, and third-party payor contracts. In addition, she leads the quality team on their journey towards high reliability. Rogers earned her Bachelor of Business and Marketing from Middle Tennessee State University, and a master’s degree in health administration from University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She is an active member in the American College of Healthcare Executives, Medical Group Management Association, and UAB National Alumni Association.

Kemberly Blackledge, D.Sc.

Chief Financial Officer

Dr. Blackledge brings over 20 years of transformative leadership in healthcare, focusing on diversity, equity, inclusion, and revenue growth. At Nashville General Hospital, she leads strategies for cash acceleration and business process enhancement. Previously, a partner at Guidehouse and Associate VP at Conifer Health Solutions, she holds an Executive DSc in Healthcare Leadership and MBA in Healthcare Administration. An FACHE fellow and CHFP, she actively contributes to various boards and professional groups.

Matthew Katz, M.D.

Executive Medical Director

Dr. Katz is an ophthalmology specialist board certified in ophthalmology. He is a graduate from George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences and has deep expertise in the impact of diabetes on the eye including a focus on cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, intravitreal injection, and other conditions of the eye. Dr. Katz also speaks Italian.
